LC Paper has brought a new Valmet Perini MyGo converting line to full production capacity in just 16 days, marking a significant expansion of the company's output capabilities.
The swift deployment allowed LC Paper to increase production capacity while maintaining uninterrupted service to its third-party brand customers, a critical requirement given that the company often serves as the sole supplier of entire product ranges for these clients.
Following the installation, LC Paper achieved more than 25% higher productivity, a 12% increase in efficiency, and improved production stability.

"Maintaining operational continuity throughout the entire project was essential for us," said Pau Vila i Garcia, CEO of LC Paper.
"As manufacturers for third-party brands and suppliers serving end consumers directly, we could not afford delays or production interruptions.
"Perini MyGo met this need perfectly: a plug-and-play machine with reduced installation times and, above all, predictable ones."

The Perini MyGo line operates at a speed of 600 m/min, producing toilet tissue and kitchen towel products with diameter up to 200 mm and achieving production capacity of up to 30 logs per minute.
LC Paper, a Spanish family-owned company founded in 1881 and now led by the fifth generation of the founding family, has undergone significant transformation in recent years. The company evolved from a parent roll producer into a manufacturer of finished products and an exclusive production partner for third-party brands.
During the pandemic, declining Away-from-Home demand prompted LC Paper to redirect part of its production toward e-commerce, progressively developing this business. Its success accelerated growth, making it necessary to replace an older machine in order to increase production capacity.
The company chose Valmet, its long-standing technology partner, to meet that need, following years of successful collaboration that began with the installation of a Perini Sincro 4.0 line in November 1999. The decision to select Perini MyGo was driven by its design specifically engineered for fast installations with minimal operational impact, a critical advantage in environments where space constraints prevent parallel operation of old and new machinery.

Perini MyGo is a compact, plug-and-play converting line that combines ease of use, fast start-up, and reliable performance, enabling tissue producers to quickly benefit from advanced converting technology.
LC Paper is recognized for its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The company produces kraft paper, tissue and related products using renewable energy, plastic-free packaging and certified fibres, including alternative raw materials such as bamboo. This commitment led the company to achieve B Corp certification, an international ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) recognition that attests to the highest standards of performance, transparency and accountability.
According to LC Paper the investment's true value extends beyond the machinery itself: Valmet technicians worked closely with LC Paper to identify optimal machine settings and fine-tune speed and productivity until desired performance levels were achieved. This collaborative support, which continues over time, proved to be the determining factor in the project's success.
